About Us

For over 50 years, Commonwealth Swim Club has been a summertime hub of community, fellowship, and friendly competition. The pool has provided our youngest members with a safe place to learn to swim, and a safe place for our oldest members to stay active and connected to their neighbors and friends. It has been a launching pad for our teens and often serves as their first jobs via life-guarding, management, and maintenance. Pool parties, potluck dinners, chili cook-offs, talent shows, and a host of other wholesome activities have been hallmark events hosted by our swim club for decades. The club has persevered through lean years, high times, and everything in between – all thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and members. Commonwealth Swim Club is community owned and volunteer managed.
